About Diane ThomasDiane Thomas holds a BA in English from Georgia State University, an MFA in Theater and Film History and Criticism from Columbia University and studied in the Creative Writing MFA program at Georgia State University. She has worked as film critic, theatre critic and entertainment editor for The Atlanta Constitution, a feature writer for Atlanta magazine and a freelance writer and editor. THE YEAR THE MUSIC CHANGED, which received a starred review from Library Journal and was a Book Sense “Notable Book” for September, 2005, is her first published novel. An earlier manuscript of her current novel-in-progress was nominated for the Pushcart Editors’ Award. A lifelong resident of Atlanta and north Georgia and part-time resident of the Florida panhandle, she recently relocated with her husband to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
